How to Upgrade Your Laptop to a144hz Model: 1.
Find a good, inexpensive laptop.
You don’t have to be a computer nerd, but it pays to get one with a high-resolution display.
If you can’t find one, you can look at laptops that are available with a built-in display, or you can buy an inexpensive laptop with a display that you can upgrade later.
If it’s cheap, you may want to consider a 144-inch laptop with high-definition display.
Plug in the computer.
If the computer has a built in USB port, you’ll need to use a cable or plug that goes directly to the computer’s USB port.
If not, use an adapter if you can.
Turn on the laptop.
If all else fails, the laptop should automatically turn on when you plug it in.
You’ll need a power cord to power the computer while you wait.
Make sure your monitor is set to 144hz.
The 144hz monitor’s resolution can be a bit more immersive than the higher-resolution screens you’ll find in higher-end computers.
If that’s the case, turn the computer off and back on to make sure everything is working properly.
Turn the computer on.
If everything is good, the computer should start displaying images, and you should see your desktop.
If anything goes wrong, simply press the power button again to turn it back on.
The computer will then automatically reboot.
