It seems like every day, a new laptop maker announces a new model with some kind of battery-enhancing tech.
It’s a trend we’re sure will continue in the years to come, but for now, this new laptop from Intel is worth checking out for its impressive battery life.
In the video below, Intel shows off a laptop with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM.
That’s an impressive battery, which is easily comparable to a MacBook Pro.
We’ve seen plenty of laptops with an 8GB battery before, and Intel is showing us a MacBook that still looks good even with a slightly smaller battery.
We’ve already covered some of the best new laptops that can be had right now for under $400, so let’s check out what else Intel has to offer.
The laptop above uses an Intel Atom E5-2660 v3 processor.
That processor has an integrated graphics solution, up to 1.7GB of VRAM, and a 256GB SSD.
Intel has been known to show off a new CPU every couple of years, so it’s no surprise that the E5 is showing up here.
It features a 14nm manufacturing process, which means it’s more efficient than the previous generation of Atom processors.
Intel is using a custom chip design for the E-series chips, which we’ve covered before.
The laptop’s RAM is also 8GB, which seems like a lot for an 11GB laptop.
But we’d be lying if we said the E6-2600 had no RAM.
You can buy a RAM upgrade kit for $600 on Amazon for that much RAM, so you might as well get this.
In this case, Intel is making a laptop that’s meant to work with its Thunderbolt 3 interface.
This is Intel’s way of making laptops work with USB Type-C ports, Thunderbolt 3 ports, and even the Thunderbolt 3 charging ports on the back.
That means it can be used with any USB-C device, even those that aren’t Thunderbolt 3-ready.
The battery life in the laptop above is impressive, as is the fact that it has a laptop backpack that can hold a whopping 16.7 pounds of laptop.
If you’re looking for a laptop to pack into your backpack and take everywhere, this laptop is a solid option.
There are a few other laptops from Intel on display in the video above.
The Intel Core M-3560 and Core M3550 are Intel’s fastest, most power-efficient CPUs for the Core series.
Both of these chips are part of the Broadwell-EP series, which has been around for a couple of generations now.
Broadwell is the new generation of the Core i7 and i9 processors.
Broadcom is a chipmaker based in China that makes Broadwell chips, so Intel is very much a big player in this field.
The Intel Core 3D C1000 and Core i3-3220 are the fastest chips for Intel’s Xeon Phi and Xeon Phi E processors.
The Xeon Phi processor has been available in Intel’s servers and desktop parts for a while, and it has been one of the fastest CPU in the business.
Intel’s latest Xeon Phi chips are also the first to have a fully unlocked and integrated GPU, so there’s no need to worry about overclocking or any other hardware issues.
Intel is also showing off the Intel Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad CPUs, which are the same chips as its Xeon Phi.
These CPUs have the same performance as the Xeon Phi, but with better efficiency.
The Core 2 series are also faster than the Xeon E5 processors, but the Xeon processors are more power efficient, so the Intel Xeon Phi CPUs are definitely worth considering.
Intel also has an interesting new socket, the Xeon M-2610, which offers improved CPU performance compared to the Xeon F-series.
There’s also a new socket called the Intel Skylake-SP that is supposed to offer better performance than Intel’s current Xeon E processors, though we’re not sure how that will affect things.
We haven’t had any Intel Skylanes, but Intel’s Skylake processors are based on Broadwell, and the Skylake cores are the first Skylake chips to be unlocked.

There’s no word on when the Skylarlake chips will be released, but we expect to see the new Intel Xeon chips hit shelves by the end of the year.
